Motion Blur Photograph - Baseball Player

This motion-blur photograph was created using Adobe Photoshop for CMST 325 Image Editing class at UMGC October 2022. Original photograph taken August 2022 in Winslow, Maine.

One of my favorite hobbies is amateur photography. Combining that skillset with manipulating photographs in Adobe Photoshop shows my range in digital design and digital media. The photograph is of a baseball player swinging a bat during a training session. To emphasize the movement, I have created a blur effect to exaggerate the movement within the scene. The tools that were used to create this scene include selection tool, blur gallery, smart filters, path blur, and speed slider. The exposure and brightness were also manipulated as to enhance the image further. Demonstrating this skill shows my versatility and attention to detail.
